The Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Ogbia Local government area, Hon. Abi Morris Bako on behalf of his family and the entire progressives in Ogbia Local government area, i  join other well wishers to felicitate with an illustrious son and leader in Ogbia Kingdom and Bayelsa State at large, the person of Hon. Oko Maxwell, the Executive Director Finance and Administration, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) on the occasion of his birthday.
Hon. Bako in a statement released through the Ogbia APC Media eulogized the EDFA as a rare breed who have demonstrated so much love for humanity. He also applauded him for his philanthropic disposition, wisdom as well as his exemplary leadership style which is worthy of emulation by all.
He earnestly prayed that the good Lord continue to strengthen, guide and uplift Hon. Oko Maxwell beyond human expectations.

Happy birthday to an Icon.

May God Almighty grant him more fruitful years ahead with good health.

Just in: Victims of PDP Campaign Rally in Nembe called on Douye Diri to come to their aids.

The victims of PDP Campaign Rally in Nember have called on the governor of Bayelsa State to come to their aids. As some of them that sustained high profile injuries and  also lost properties worth thousands of naira, are yet to be compensated by the government. Two of the victims named Tombra Felagha and Teke Toruyai spoke with us and display their displeasure the way the government is handling the issue. "They told us to appear on an inquiry panel constituted by the governor which we did and we also filled forms. We were interviewed and also wrote our properties that were lost as a result of the ugly incident. We were promised to be given the monetary values of our property lost. As I am speaking to you , none of the government officials has called us. Our fear is that the government is about to wind up that is why we are using this medium to call on the governor to come to our aids". If nothing is done, we are going to stage a peaceful protest to lodge our complain...
