Venezuela's minister of petroleum which double as OPEC president celebrates Sylva

Manuel Salvador Quevedo Fernandez, Venezuela’s People’s Minister of Petroleum and President of the OPEC Conference 2019, welcomed Nigeria’s Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, His Excellency Timipre  Sylva and the Saudi Energy Minister, H.R.H Prince Abdulaziz Bin Salman as the two make their debut appearance, today at the 177th Meeting of the OPEC Conference held in Vienna, Austria.
In his opening address, Mr. Fernandez described Nigeria’s Sylva as “an oil industry veteran and will no doubt be a tremendous asset to the Conference.”
Nigeria’s delegation also includes the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Mallam Mele Kolo Kyari, who is attending the meeting in his capacity as Nigeria’s National Representative at #OPEC.

Just in: Victims of PDP Campaign Rally in Nembe called on Douye Diri to come to their aids.

The victims of PDP Campaign Rally in Nember have called on the governor of Bayelsa State to come to their aids. As some of them that sustained high profile injuries and  also lost properties worth thousands of naira, are yet to be compensated by the government. Two of the victims named Tombra Felagha and Teke Toruyai spoke with us and display their displeasure the way the government is handling the issue. "They told us to appear on an inquiry panel constituted by the governor which we did and we also filled forms. We were interviewed and also wrote our properties that were lost as a result of the ugly incident. We were promised to be given the monetary values of our property lost. As I am speaking to you , none of the government officials has called us. Our fear is that the government is about to wind up that is why we are using this medium to call on the governor to come to our aids". If nothing is done, we are going to stage a peaceful protest to lodge our complain...
