ABUJA: CONSULTATION TO ALAHAJI ASARI, THE PYRAMID:


The New Era Campaign Trail paid a consultative visit to the Ndiabale of Kalabari kingdom and the Pyramid of the Niger Delta liberation struggle, Alahaji Mujahid Asari Dokubo, who was one’s president of the IYC at his Asokoro private residence, FCT, Abuja.


 Mr Ebilade Ekerefe seized the opportunity to reiterate his commitment to the Ijaw course, while soliciting for the support and blessings of the erstwhile president of the council as part of his nationwide consultations with critical stakeholders of the Ijaw national project to becoming the 9th president of Council. 


Amongst many other things, he assured him that he will be introducing fresh ideas and strategic thinking to confronting the challenges of the oppressed Ijaw people in the Nigerian state. He equally promised that under his watch, the IYC will be reorganized, disciplined with the precision needed to achieve targeted results.


The foremost leader offered prayers and blessings while opining that Mr Ebilade Ekerefe has what it takes to provide leadership for the Council at this time of uncertainties going by his track records and and fearless and courageous contributions to the Ijaw course as Spokesman of the Council.


Mr Ebilade Ekerefe believes strongly that A NEW ERA is emerging and he is willing to inconvenience himself for the greater good of the Ijaw people.

Just in: Victims of PDP Campaign Rally in Nembe called on Douye Diri to come to their aids.

The victims of PDP Campaign Rally in Nember have called on the governor of Bayelsa State to come to their aids. As some of them that sustained high profile injuries and  also lost properties worth thousands of naira, are yet to be compensated by the government. Two of the victims named Tombra Felagha and Teke Toruyai spoke with us and display their displeasure the way the government is handling the issue. "They told us to appear on an inquiry panel constituted by the governor which we did and we also filled forms. We were interviewed and also wrote our properties that were lost as a result of the ugly incident. We were promised to be given the monetary values of our property lost. As I am speaking to you , none of the government officials has called us. Our fear is that the government is about to wind up that is why we are using this medium to call on the governor to come to our aids". If nothing is done, we are going to stage a peaceful protest to lodge our complain...
