To be completed with 16 months. Gov Dickson of bayelsa state has already spent 30 billion naira in an uncompleted 7KM road for the past 7 years. An angry facebooker posted on his page that  "Bayelsa must protest with their PVC's".

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has inaugurated national campaign councils for the forthcoming governorship elections in Bayelsa states, directing all governors on its platform to execute the polls. While the Kaduna state Governor, Mallam Nasir El-rufai, will lead the campaign team in Kogi, his counterpart in Jigawa, Muhammadu Badaru Abubakar, will lead the campaign in Bayelsa. Speaking at the inauguration, Friday at the APC national secretariat in Abuja, the National Chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, urged the committee to carry out their assignments regarding the elections with all determination. Oshiomhole said: “Let me use this opportunity to assure our opponent that we are ready for campaign and elections.” Responding, the Kano state Governor, Dr. Umar Ganduje, who stood in for Jigawa state governor, said: “It is a matter of democracy that all votes must count in the coming election in Bayelsa state.” ...

Markson Fefegha has just resigned  his appointment. The former political appointee  said, "after period of deep deflection, he has decided to quit due to political uncertainty and other reasons personal to him. He is hoping to dedicate his life and energy to other assignments that will be more acceptable to God and humanity in the near future.

Bayelsa Poll: Dickson scheming to remove state REC--- APC Stakeholders

By Titus Innocent   -   October 15, 2019 Stakeholders in Bayelsa State have accused Governor Seriake Dickson of sponsoring calls for the removal of the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), ahead of the November 16 governorship poll. The stakeholders, under the auspices of Bayelsa Rainbow Coalition for Good Governance (BRCGG), alleged that the move was part of the desperation of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to arm-twist and intimidate officials of the commission. BRCGG leader Fred Joel, in a statement in Yenagoa, alleged that Dickson was pushing for a new REC that would do his bidding, having seen that the incumbent REC is an adherent of the principles of justice and fairness. Bayelsa founding fathers present blueprint documents to David Lyon.

By Innocent Titus, October 14, 2019    Founding fathers of Bayelsa State have held a “historic” meeting with the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the November 16 governorship election, Chief David Lyon to endorse his candidature. The founding fathers, led by Senator J.K. Brambaifa, handed over three documents containing the roadmap for the development of the state, names of living and their dead colleagues at the meeting in Yenagoa at the instance of Lyon. Brambaifa, while handing over the documents, described the meeting as historic saying it was the first time a candidate of a political party for an election would request to see those that fought for the creation of Bayelsa. The governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, has extolled the virtues of former President Goodluck Jonathan, saying after God the next valuable being in his life is the former leader.
