The Opu-Nembe Visit

  OPU-NEMBE:  Earlier today,  Mr Ebilade Ekerefe paid a consultative visit to his friend and ally, the president of Opu-Nembe Kingdom, Comr. Ayerite Moses on issues of Ijaw national interest.  He seized the opportunity to commend him for his pragmatic leadership to the Opu-Nembe youths and the kingdom, while Mr Ebilade reinstated that building bridges of brotherhood and friendship is the only sure path for a united front for the Ijaw Nation as we move into "A New Era." The leading aspirant , Mr Ebilade , equally informed him formally of his aspiration of becoming the 9th president of the Ijaw Youth Council and solicited for his unalloyed support as a youth leader in the region.  In the  delegation  is the Chairman of Bayelsa state Vigilante Service, Mr. Doubiye Alagba  his very good friend and the secretary of the Vigilante Service, Mr. Innocent Kalaingo.

  By Yamo News ABUJA: CONSULTATION TO ALAHAJI ASARI, THE PYRAMID: The New Era Campaign Trail paid a consultative visit to the Ndiabale of Kalabari kingdom and the Pyramid of the Niger Delta liberation struggle, Alahaji Mujahid Asari Dokubo, who was one’s president of the IYC at his Asokoro private residence, FCT, Abuja.  Mr Ebilade Ekerefe seized the opportunity to reiterate his commitment to the Ijaw course, while soliciting for the support and blessings of the erstwhile president of the council as part of his nationwide consultations with critical stakeholders of the Ijaw national project to becoming the 9th president of Council.  Amongst many other things, he assured him that he will be introducing fresh ideas and strategic thinking to confronting the challenges of the oppressed Ijaw people in the Nigerian state. President Tinubu Opens Nigeria Borders

There is a speculation on Facebook and Twitter which has received reactions from many Nigerians online as some citizens prayed that God will touch the mind of President Tinubu to open the border. Many citizens, both learned and illiterates believed that the decision by former President Muhammadu Buhari to close the Nigerian borders was a major setback for the administration as it was closely related to the hike in prices of food items in the country. Nigeria, with a hopping population of 200 million highly depends on farm produces and, mostly staple foods from neighboring countries. However, insurgencies, leakages in Internally Generated Revenue, and the drive to promote locally made products were among the reasons that convinced former President Muhammadu Buhari to close the border.
